ABOUT LPS RICHMOND

Empowering every student to achieve their dreams

At LPS Richmond, we believe every student has the potential to succeed—no matter their background or starting point. Our small, supportive school community prepares students not just for graduation, but for life beyond high school.

Through a rigorous academic program and a focus on real-world problem solving, students build the confidence, skills, and mindset they need to thrive in college, career, and leadership roles.

We teach students to think critically, collaborate with purpose, and grow through challenges. At LPS Richmond, students don’t just aim for graduation—they aim higher.

Message From the Principal

At LPS Richmond, we prepare every student for success in college, career, and community leadership within a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.

Our students have access to Advanced Placement courses, Career Technical Education, and early college credit opportunities – all guided by a dedicated team of academic counselors. We also partner with families through our English Learner and Parent Advisory Committees, and we proudly collaborate with the West Contra Costa County Charter Coalition.

Beyond the classroom, students thrive in our athletics program, student clubs, and leadership opportunities that build confidence, teamwork, and pride. At LPS Richmond, every student’s potential is seen, supported, and celebrated.
